Inmate Faces Suicide Attempt; Security Team Intervenes

Early this morning, around 10:00 a.m., a detainee at the CMD attempted to take his own life, but was stopped by officers of the Remand Prison.
“Thanks to the swift actions of the security personnel, his suicidal attempt was thwarted. Following the incident, the individual was immediately taken to the KCCG. The Police Directorate has been informed of the situation,” stated the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions to Vijesti.
