Budva’s Youth Water Polo Team Secures Championship Title Again

Youngsters from Budva’s water polo team, those born in 2010 and later, have successfully defended their title as champions of Montenegro.
The Budva team clinched the championship trophy in their group, finishing ahead of Jadran and Primorje based on superior results in their matches. Each of the three teams ended up with identical records of three wins and one loss in their encounters with one another; however, Budva secured the top position thanks to a better goal difference.
In their opening match, Budva triumphed over Primorac with a score of 14:8, but then faced a narrow defeat against Jadran, losing 10:9. In a crucial match, Primorac emerged victorious against Jadran with a score of 9:7.
Ultimately, Budva concluded the competition with a goal difference of +4, while Jadran finished at -1, and Primorac was at -4 in their triangular matchup. All three teams secured wins against Mladost from Bijela and Nikšić. Mladost ended up in fourth place after defeating Nikšić with a score of 11:6. The medals were awarded to the young water polo players from Budva by the coach of the senior national team, Vladimir Gojković.
