The teams NLB Bank and Posta CG have secured their spots in the quarterfinals of the Meridianbet Business League of Montenegro mini-football playoffs following their victories in the play-in matches.

A notable upset was delivered by Pošta CG, which, despite finishing tenth in the league stage, triumphed over seventh-placed Monteput with a score of 2:1 after a thrilling match.

The “postmen” took the initiative in the 14th minute when Ognjen Šušić scored. Although Samir Adrović equalized for Monteput early in the second half, Dušan-Duka Jovićević clinched the win with a goal just six minutes later.

Posta CG’s opponent in the quarterfinals will be the second-placed DMD Delta.

In the other playoff match, NLB Bank, ranked eighth, managed to eliminate Elektroprenos (6:2) thanks to a strong performance in the final ten minutes, as Elektroprenos finished ninth in the league.

After a balanced first half, Bogdan Sakovski put NLB Bank ahead shortly after halftime. Igor Blečić leveled for Elektroprenos in the 29th minute, but that was the last highlight for them as NLB Bank scored four additional goals to secure their place in the quarterfinals against the league leaders, CEDIS.
