Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, asserts that Montenegro has also played a role in averting a red notice from Interpol against himself and Nenad Stevandic, the President of the RS National Assembly.
Last night, Dodik revealed that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić contacted him to inform him that the Interpol Directorate had acknowledged Serbia’s appeal, thereby rejecting the request from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to issue a red warrant against both Dodik and Stevandić.
“Vučić reached out to me about an hour ago to confirm that Serbia’s appeal was accepted and consequently, there will be no Interpol red notice. This case is politically motivated, and Interpol does not operate on behalf of those masters from Sarajevo who believe they can dictate their wishes. Clearly, their wishes are not being granted,” Dodik remarked during an appearance on RTRS.
He expressed that this decision was the correct one and met his expectations.
Initially, Serbia filed a complaint with Interpol at the behest of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Subsequently, I received calls from other nations, including Hungary’s President Orban, as well as Russia, Montenegro, and several other countries. We will discover who was behind this initiative and how it was handled, and we will be deeply appreciative of their efforts. This is not merely about rescuing Milorad Dodik and Stevandić, but about preserving faith in justice,” Dodik stated on RTRS.
