Jadran Falls Short in Match Against Savona

The team certainly made a more positive impression in the second leg of the round of 13 in this prominent European competition, securing a victory over Savona – in Trebinje, the score was 12:XNUMX in favor of Petar Radanović’s squad.
After suffering a loss of 16:10 in the first match, it became evident that Novlja faced an uphill battle for a spot in the quarter-finals. The visitors maintained control of the game until the third quarter, enjoying a two-goal lead on two separate occasions.
As the match progressed, Jadran started to dominate, taking the lead for the first time in the second minute of the third quarter and seeking to inject some excitement into the two-legged tie. Jadran took a two-goal advantage (12:10) for the first time five minutes before the conclusion, courtesy of goals from Jovan Vujović and Ivan Nagaev. Yet, in the following possession, Savona reduced the deficit to 12:11 with a player advantage after Darko Đurović was cautioned for a foul against Balaž Erdelji.

On the Savona side, Bruni scored three times, and Montenegrin national player Bogdan Đurđić added two goals to the tally.
