“This city, which we call home and where we grew up, has lost its identity. Today, due to the apathy of those tasked with its governance, Nikšić is in ruins in nearly every aspect,” stated Željko Nikčević, a candidate representing the European Alliance in Nikšić, during the unveiling of their list.

“It is both my privilege and joy to be a part of this list, as a representative of the Montenegrin European Party, standing alongside these individuals to reclaim our Nikšić from four years of decline,” he further commented.

Nikčević noted that the Montenegrin European Party is a relatively recent addition to Montenegro’s political landscape, formed as an alternative for those who refrained from supporting even the foundational parties of the government prior to 2020.

“I take pride in representing a political entity that is now part of the European Alliance in Nikšić – a coalition composed of civic-minded, pro-European, state-building parties, all united by a single purpose: to improve Nikšić,” emphasized the European Alliance candidate.

He expressed confidence that this list will garner substantial support from the citizens of Nikšić.

“In that regard, with our integrity—both human and professional—and a program we believe to be the best among those available, I am optimistic that we will gain the backing of a significant number of Nikšić residents,” Nikčević concluded.
