The Berane police discovered 84,900 euros in a vehicle with Ulcinj registration plates, which was being driven by FR (29) from that city.

On the previous day, around 14:00, authorities inspected a BMW X5 in the town of Pešca, where VK (48) from Ulcinj was a passenger.

FR was apprehended for violating the Road Traffic Safety Act after it was confirmed that he was driving under the influence of cocaine.

“The recovered money has been temporarily seized to facilitate further criminal proceedings and investigative measures in collaboration with the Special Police Department,” announced the Police Directorate.

Additionally, FR’s vehicle has been temporarily confiscated for further examination.

“The Special State Prosecutor’s Office has been notified of the actions taken, which will, upon reviewing the case file and necessary measures, determine the qualifications of the offense,” the statement concluded.
