In a thrilling encounter tonight in Belgrade, the Jadran water polo team suffered a defeat against Novi Belgrade with a score of 15:13 during the Top Five phase of the Regional League.

Jadran is set to face Crvena zvezda tomorrow at 18:30.

During the second quarter, Jadran found themselves trailing by three goals (6:3), but they fought back to narrow the gap to 7:6 by halftime. Following two goals from Vasilija Radović, Petar Radanović’s squad managed to take the lead at 9:8.

The Novljani team was able to hold a one-goal advantage on two separate occasions in the third quarter (10:9 and 11:10), but ultimately, the Belgrade team rallied in the final period to claim victory.

Nagaev stood out for Jadran, scoring four goals, while Ortega and Jakšić each found the net three times for the opposing team.
