Luka Bar and Budućnost Secure Spots in the EPCG Women’s Volleyball Super League Final
The volleyball teams of Luka Bar and Budućnost Volley are set to clash on Sunday at 16:00 at the Sports Center “Topolica” in Bar, in the pivotal match of the EPCG Super League semi-finals.
These two clubs have captivated volleyball fans in Montenegro with their performances. Vladimir Milačić’s team achieved a resounding victory in the first match at home, while Luka Bogojević’s squad managed to pull off an impressive win on their home turf in Podgorica after a major upset, securing a 3:2 result. This tie in the series sets the stage for a deciding match to determine who will advance to the finals.
Teodora Čavić, one of Luka Bar’s top scorers, emphasizes the significance of the upcoming match, stating that they are facing the most crucial game of their season.
“We are preparing for a very challenging match, likely the most important one this season. The Budućnost team has proven their quality and determination, rightfully claiming victory in Podgorica. I believe this will be a true spectacle for all volleyball enthusiasts. I have faith in my team, our capabilities, and I hope we will ultimately be celebrating our place in the finals,” Čavić remarked.
Mileva Magdelinić, captain of Budućnost, highlights that her team is heading to Bar with strong motivation.
“We have an extremely important and challenging match on Sunday. Making it to the finals would mean a great achievement for us. It’s clear that the upcoming match will be very tough, and we need to stay completely focused. The entire team is driven to give their all, and I hope we can reach the finals,” Magdelinić stated.
The defending champion, Herceg Novi, has already secured a spot in the finals after convincingly winning both semi-final matches against Albatros with maximum results.
