Montenegro is set to feature four international maritime routes in the upcoming summer tourist season, as announced by Maritime Affairs Minister Filip Radulović.
“Alongside the previously confirmed routes of Budva-Dubrovnik, Kotor-Dubrovnik, and Bar-Bari, we are pleased to officially confirm the Bar-Ancona line. This route will operate from July 1 to September 10. Discussions with the Adria Ferries company for this season are close to finalization, and Barska plovidba has settled key elements of the agreement with the Italian partner,” Radulović stated, as conveyed by the Ministry of Transport.
Radulović anticipates that the formal signing of the contract will occur by the end of this week or the start of next week.
“We will soon release a sailing timetable, while the pricing will vary based on the date of purchase and availability. Having four international shipping routes this season showcases the effective efforts of my department, which prioritizes the expansion of the maritime network,” Radulović added.
The introduction of these routes, according to Radulović, will boost local economies and significantly enhance the strength of the Montenegrin economy.
