The Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) has confirmed that no individual held in the Podgorica Remand Prison has reported a bomb threat to the High Court.
UIKS addressed the article titled “Supreme Court: Individual Allegedly Behind Bomb Threat Is in Pretrial Detention.”
“It is important to note that any individual can potentially misuse someone else’s email or IP address. Therefore, a thorough investigation of all the facts is essential to ascertain possible misuse and to determine whether there is any basis for suspicion that the offender is a detainee or another individual from the UIKS facilities,” the statement reads.
“In this context, the pertinent authorities at UIKS will undertake all actions and measures within their jurisdiction to ascertain indisputable facts. We also anticipate similar actions from other relevant authorities, chiefly the Police Directorate and the Prosecutor’s Office, with whom we maintain continuous cooperation,” it further stated.
