Partizan Responds, Bayern Triumphs Over Blaugrana, Fenerbahce’s Incredible Comeback Against Paris
Following a challenging game against Anadolu Efes, which was swiftly followed by a difficult match against Mornar within 48 hours, Partizan’s basketball players managed to secure a victory.
In the Euroleague’s 31st round at the Belgrade Arena, Željko Obradović’s squad triumphed over Alba with a score of 85:71. The game shifted decisively at the start of the final quarter when the team established a double-digit lead.
Brandon Davis was the standout performer for the home team, scoring 22 points, with Karlik Jones contributing 15 points and nine assists, while Isaac Bonga added 14 points to the tally.
Partizan now holds a record of 16 wins and 15 losses.
In a surprising turn of events, Bayern, who will face Partizan on Thursday in Munich, managed to defeat Barcelona away from home with a score of 102:101, thanks to Vladimir Lučić’s free throw with just 17 seconds remaining. Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe narrowly edged out Paris with a final score of 101:100.
The team from Paris maintained the lead for more than 35 minutes and was ahead by 15 points in the third quarter. However, in the closing moments, the home side proved their status as favorites by sealing the game with a three-pointer at the buzzer from Nigel Hayes-Davies.
Fenerbahce is now just one victory behind leaders Olympiakos, who suffered a defeat against Asvel following their matchup with Red Star Belgrade.
