This year, 21 buildings in the Pljevlja Municipality are set to receive new thermal facades, according to an announcement from the Office of the Mayor, Dario Vraneš.
Nine of these buildings will have their facades renovated through direct municipal investment (with 90 percent funded by the Municipality and 10 percent by tenants). The total value of this work is â¬1,014,499 excluding VAT. Meanwhile, 12 other buildings will be renovated through a partnership between the Municipality and the Eco Fund (with 85 percent covered by the Eco Fund and 15 percent by tenants), amounting to approximately â¬780,000 excluding VAT.
The construction work for most of these buildings will be executed by the local company “Tehnogradnja” along with the construction group from the Pljevlja Coal Mine. Contracts with the contractors have already been finalized.
“This represents the largest investment in energy efficiency that the Municipality of Pljevlja has made so far. We have engaged competent contractors, and I am confident that the project will be completed with high quality and in record time. Once we finish the renovations on these 21 facades, the town will present a completely new aesthetic, citizens will benefit from more energy-efficient apartments, save on heating costs, and importantly, there will be a significant reduction in pollution levels,” stated VraneÅ¡.
