At a pre-election rally in Humci, Nemanja Vuković, the head of the “We Are All Nikšić” list, emphasized the significant development potential for citizens, announcing the largest foreign direct investment in the area over the past two decades, as per the list’s statement.

“The arrival of Big Fashion will introduce a retail park to Nikšić, featuring over 15,000 square meters and creating more than 300 new jobs. Additionally, Rubeža and Oštrovac will benefit from a sewage network, and every street in these communities will undergo reconstruction. We understand the needs of the people. Therefore, we plan to enhance the neighborhoods in Humci and Željezara, renovate Vuka Karadžića Street, and continue to develop playgrounds and sports facilities,” Vuković assured attendees at the rally.

He remarked that the past four years have been challenging due to long-standing issues.

“We tackled problems that previous administrations neglected or caused harm to over the years. From addressing the Mislov landfill and managing stray dogs to developing neighborhoods that had awaited improvement for 70-80 years. We’ve also addressed the neglected water supply and road infrastructure, alongside a municipal debt of 33 million euros, with a mere million and a half available, insufficient for even two employee salaries. Our fight against corruption, crime, and nepotism—longstanding issues—also continues,” stated Vuković.

Despite these challenges, he noted that the local government has successfully established stability in Nikšić and has built a strong foundation for future growth, as stated by the “We Are All Nikšić” list. Vuković reiterated that the list he represents has a well-defined plan for the next four years, focusing on the development of every local community in Nikšić and the generation of new, sustainable employment opportunities.

“Our aim is to encourage young people to remain in Nikšić, to work and build a life here, while also ensuring security and support for those already residing here, and to improve living conditions for our elderly citizens. The best service we can provide to them is stable jobs and prospects for their children and grandchildren. This can only be accomplished together,” he asserted.

In a passionate conclusion, he declared that on April 13, Nikšić would stand strong and decisive, just as it did on March 14, 2021, and August 30, 2020, making it clear that criminal elements have no place in the future.

“Mafia, corruption, and blackmail will not succeed! Thus, the right choice is number 7, because – We are all Nikšić!”, Vuković concluded.
