The water polo team from Jadran in Herceg Novi clinched the championship title in Montenegro’s junior competition for players born in 2008 and younger.

In the championship match, Jadran triumphed over Budva with a score of 15:11, with quarter results of 4:1, 3:4, 5:3, and 3:3.

Earlier in the tournament, Jadran faced the same opponent in the group stage, securing a win of 14:7, with the quarters ending 3:2, 3:2, 3:1, and 5:2.

During the group stage, they also defeated Budućnost 12:10 (4:4, 3:2, 3:0, 2:4) and Primorka 13:10 (2:2, 2:3, 6:4, 3:1).

Budva finished second in the group, having defeated Primorje by a narrow margin of 12:11 (5:2, 1:6, 4:2, 2:1) and Budućnost 11:8 (4:3, 3:2, 1:3, 3:0).

In the playoff for third place, Primorac emerged victorious against Budućnost with a score of 8:7 (4:1, 1:4, 2:2, 1:0). This win served as a revenge for their earlier defeat in group play, where Budućnost had won 14:7 (6:2, 3:2, 2:1, 3:2).

The players of Jadran were awarded the championship trophy by their coach, Vladimir Gojković.
