Prime Minister Milojko Spajić expressed his support for the initiative to establish a trade and economic agreement between the European Union and the United Arab Emirates.

As highlighted by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the agreement aims to enhance ties with the UAE, facilitate trade in goods and services, and boost investment flows. Prime Minister Spajić emphasized that this initiative reaffirms the Government’s dedication to strengthening partnerships with the world’s most influential stakeholders.

We are enthusiastic about the endeavor to forge a new trade and economic agreement between the EU and UAE, as initiated by His Highness President Mohamed bin Zayed and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Prime Minister Spajić shared on X.

Through the signing of the bilateral agreement with the UAE, Montenegro has proven itself to be a dependable and credible partner among the leading global players. The responsibility now lies with us to execute significant projects and ensure a prosperous future for Montenegro, he further stated.
