Border police at the Sukobin-Murićani joint crossing with Albania in Ulcinj have apprehended a vehicle that was subject to an international search.

While exiting Montenegro, officers inspected an Albanian national, ET, who was behind the wheel of a Fiat displaying Italian registration plates.

A review of police records indicated that an international search warrant had been issued for the vehicle by Italian Interpol on January 29th.

“Following the directive from the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Ulcinj, information was gathered from ET regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. The vehicle was confiscated for further investigation,” the Police Directorate stated.
