The Accomplishment of Buducnost Volleyball Players
The Buducnost volleyball team showcased a remarkable comeback on their home ground, clinching victory in the semi-final of the EPCG Super League playoffs.
The team from Podgorica triumphed over Luka Bar with a score of 3:2 (19:25, 13:25, 28:26, 25:15, 15:7), marking one of the most significant victories of the season after 90 minutes of thrilling volleyball action.
Initially, it appeared that the “Sirens” would easily secure a spot in the championship final after dominating the first two sets, winning the first set 25:19 and limiting the hosts to just 13 points in the second set.
However, during one of the season’s finest sets, where they saved three match points against them (23:24, 24:25, 25:26), Luka Bogojević’s girls found their rhythm and reversed the tide, eventually taking the set 28:26.
They continued their momentum, convincingly taking the fourth set with a score of 25:15, and with high motivation, they wrapped up the match at 15:7, securing a meeting at SC “Topolica” on April 12th.
Buducnost’s captain, Mileva Magdelinić, had an outstanding performance, scoring 17 points, two points ahead of Kristina Božović, while Sara Belojević contributed 11 points. Additionally, Milena Ćetković, the middle blocker for Buducnost, added nine points to the team’s success.
On the opposing side, Teodora Čavić scored 13 points, Dušanka Petrović added 11, and Vittoria Aieska contributed nine points, with Luka Bar accruing half of their 98 points due to errors made by their opponents.
