Strugar Guides Craiova to 3rd Place, While Jovović and Delić Excel as Team Leaders in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

The regional and European football season is reaching its climax, with several of our international players playing key roles for their clubs.
Bojan Strugar, the setter for Craiova, delivered impressive performances in the Romanian league, where his team is just one win away from clinching third place. Strugar contributed significantly, earning 3 points in the first match of the consolation final against Zalau, which concluded 2:15, and followed it up with a remarkable 24 points in a four-set victory the next day at home. The third match will take place in Zalau on Saturday.
In the Croatian league, Mladost is on the verge of reaching the finals after winning the first match of the playoff semi-finals against Centrometal 3:0. Our player Đorđe Jovović scored 12 points in this match, while young middle blocker Nikola Đurović did not register any points. The next semi-final match is set for tomorrow, where Ribola Kaštela will look to bounce back against Mursa after losing the first match at home 3:0, despite Vukašin Cimbaljević scoring 10 points.
Centrometal ousted Marsonia, with our middle blocker Srđan Petrović, in the quarter-finals after winning the rematch as the home team 3:0, and clinching the golden set 15:11. Marsonia had won the first match 3:1, with Petrović contributing 7 points in the rematch.
The Serbian Super League playoffs were full of excitement during the quarter-finals. Unfortunately, Karađorđe, under the guidance of our setter Milutin Pavićević, had their season cut short after losing to Dubočica in the third playoff match, with the final score being 3:2. Pavićević managed to score nine points in that match.
Both Red Star and Partizan played exhilarating matches, with the victory of our men’s national team coach Ivica Jevtić’s team standing out. The red-and-whites won a thrilling match 3:2 at Banjica, advancing to the semifinals where they currently lead the series against Vojvodina 3:1. The other semifinal matchup features Radnički and Dubočica, with Kragujevac winning the first match 3:0.
Matija Ćinćur and Alpacem Kanal are on the brink of reaching the grand final of the Slovenian championship after a stellar league season. They took the first semi-final match against Kalcit 3:2, with Ćinćur contributing seven points, while in an away defeat 3:0, he scored one point less. The decisive semi-final match is set for tomorrow.
The top teams from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League, Domaljevac and Napredak, are headed for the new final. Both teams won their semi-final series 2:0, with Domaljevac defeating Modrica 3:0 in the second match, where Jovan Delić had an impressive eight points.
Blažo Milić and Nemanja Peruničić are close to securing their spots in the top Czech volleyball league, with their Usti team winning the first two playoff matches against Dobričovic, both by a score of 3:0. In the first match, Peruničić scored 12 points, while Milić did not play, and in the second match, Milić scored four points, with Peruničić not participating.
Montenegrin coach Marko Joksimović, playing for Al Sadd, celebrated a victory with his team in the Amir Cup qualifying match, defeating Al Kor 3:0.
