AMSCG: Wet and Slippery Roads Ahead

Montenegro’s roads are wet and slippery this morning, according to the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG), which has also issued warnings about potential minor landslides in gorge areas.
Traffic is halted for all vehicles on the regional road Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac in Sokolovina due to rock falls as part of the Sokolovina critical point rehabilitation.
On the M-2 main road, traffic is temporarily suspended for all vehicles on the Ribarevina – Poda and Poda-Berane sections from 11:14 to 16:30 and again from 11:00 to 15:00.
On the M-3 main road Plužine-Jasenovo Polje, vehicles cannot pass from midnight to 1 PM and between 3 PM and 5 PM at the Zaborje-Jasenovo Polje location.
The regional road R-29 Bar-Kamenicki most Krute will have traffic suspended from 11 AM to 1 PM and again from 4 PM to 6 PM due to reconstruction work.
On the M-1 highway at the Krtolska intersection – Budva – Petrovac – Ulcinj section, traffic will flow alternately with stops of up to ten minutes from 11 PM to 5 AM for cleaning and painting of the Mogren, Belveder, and Kruče tunnels.
On the M-10 main road in the Cetinje – Budva section, traffic direction has changed in Boreti from two-way to one-way.
There is a temporary switch to alternating traffic on the main road Lepenac-Ribarevine, with possible delays of up to 30 minutes at the construction site.
On the M-10 main road, the section Podgorica 3-Cetinje will experience traffic re-routing to one-way due to construction on the Cetinje-Čevo road, with occasional delays not exceeding 15 minutes.
Changes to the traffic regime also apply on the Nikšić-Vilusi main road on the Nikšić-Kuside section due to Autobaza bridge reconstruction.
Due to necessary repairs of cracks in the Sozina tunnel, vehicles will pass alternately from 10 PM to 5 AM, with possible complete traffic suspensions for short periods.
Between the Raš Tunnel and the Sozina Tunnel Command Center, vehicles are alternating due to the installation of protective steel mesh.
AMSCG reminds motorists that under the Law on Road Traffic Safety, from November 15 to April 1, all vehicles on winter roads must be equipped with winter tires. The minimum tread depth for these tires during this period is four millimeters.
