“1,639 Guests Currently in Tivat; Visitor Numbers Expected to Rise Tomorrow”
As per the latest statistics released by the local Tourist Organization, there are currently 1,639 officially registered guests occupying various forms of registered accommodation in the Tivat Riviera area. This represents a decline of seven percent compared to the previous year; however, it signifies a remarkable increase of 61 percent compared to the same timeframe during the record-setting year of 2019.
The majority of visitors—1,443 in total—are utilizing the services provided by private accommodation hosts, while 196 tourists are residing in hotels.
Hotel visits are expected to rise starting tomorrow as the 350th Congress of Dentists of Montenegro kicks off in Tivat, attracting approximately 350 participants from both the domestic and international arenas over the next three days.
Among the current guests in the Tivat Riviera, visitors from the Russian market top the list, making up 26.89 percent of the overall turnout. They are followed by tourists from Serbia, comprising 16.42 percent, and those from Turkey, representing 11 percent.
In addition to these, smaller groups of tourists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Croatia, Kosovo, and Germany are also present in Tivat.
