This anniversary year, marking the club’s century, will not be celebrated by Buducnost due to the failure to secure a double crown, nor will they cherish their consecutive victory record as it stands.
After achieving nine successive wins, the Podgorica team faced a setback in Berane, resulting in a 3:3 draw against Jezera.
The “blue” generation’s remarkable records of ten consecutive victories from the 2011/12 and 2020/21 seasons remain unchallenged.
With 11 matches still to go this season, Ivan Brnović’s team has a chance to set new records. Buducnost is on the brink of clinching the title, boasting a 12-point advantage over Petrovac.
The dramatic match at City Stadium saw Jezero initially trailing, then on the verge of securing potentially vital points in their fight for survival. Thanks to former Buducnost striker Mihailo Perović, they turned things around to take a 2:1 lead, then 3:2.
Buducnost, however, fought back, and the equalizer at 3:3 was netted by 18-year-old Montenegrin youth international Andrej Camaj, marking his debut goal in the league.
Following a draw against Jedinstvo, Petrovac returned to form with a convincing 4:0 win over Bokelj SBBet in Kotor.
The Petrovac side remains unbeaten in the second half of the season, taking the lead in the 19th minute thanks to Kastanjeda’s goal.
After Bokelj was reduced to ten men due to Poček’s red card in the 73rd minute, Petrovac capitalized on their numerical advantage, with goals from Arambašić, Boljević, and Zvrk sealing a dominant victory.
Sutjeska extended their unbeaten streak to four matches, defeating Otrant-Olimpik 2:0 today at the OFK Titograd Training Camp. This win places the Nikšić team in third place, tied on points with Bokelj but having played one match more.
Sutjeska opened the scoring in the 12th minute following a well-executed team play—Vukčević set up Tošković, who then assisted Janjić, leading to his eighth goal of the season.
The final score was confirmed by Vasko Kalezić in the 81st minute. Kalezić assisted Žižić, whose shot was saved by Otranto goalkeeper Ljuljanović before bouncing for Kalezić to turn it in.
Kalezić also netted his eighth goal of the season today.
Mornar achieved victory as well, edging out Arsenal 1:0 at the FSCG Training Camp.
The Barani team had their four-match unbeaten run ended, with Đurišić capitalizing on a significant error by Ćetković in the 57th minute to score.
Jedinstvo-Franca faced Dečić AdmiralBet in Bijelo Polje, ending in a 1:1 draw. Following this match, both teams continue to struggle, each without a victory in three domestic league matches.
Dečić took an early lead in the sixth minute, with Endijaj finding the net. Jedinstvo had a chance to level in the 21st minute but saw Aldin Mušović miss a penalty.
In the second half, Jedinstvo was awarded another penalty in the 52nd minute, with Žarko Korać converting this one from 11 meters.
A two-week break is next on the calendar for the championship due to the World Cup qualifying commitments of national teams.
