Announcement of Competition for Conceptual Architectural Design of a Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool and Sports Halls in Pljevlja

The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property has issued a national call for entries to design a conceptual architectural plan for a semi-Olympic swimming pool and a multifunctional sports hall in Pljevlja.
The planned swimming pool will be located in proximity to the Ada Sports Center.
“This competition aims to secure a functional and distinctive conceptual architectural design that fulfills the specified requirements while achieving optimal integration of all elements outlined in the Competition Task. The overarching goal is to realize the full potential of the entire sports and recreational complex in Pljevlja. The establishment of an indoor semi-Olympic swimming pool and a multifunctional hall is a project of strategic significance, introduced in the Pljevlja Recovery Plan, which will greatly aid in the advancement of Pljevlja. Additionally, it is part of a broader sports and tourism development that includes an athlete accommodation center, sports facilities, and a city stadium,” the statement reads.
The submission deadline for entries is May 30, 2025, at noon, with the competition results to be revealed by June 16.
