Ibrahimović Welcomes Farewell Visits from Ambassadors of Brazil and North Macedonia
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Mr. Ervin Ibrahimović, conducted farewell meetings today with the non-resident Ambassador of Brazil to Montenegro, José Mauro da Fonseca Costa Couto, and the Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia, Zećir Ramčilović.
During the conversation with the Brazilian Ambassador, Ibrahimović expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador’s significant role in enhancing the overall relations between the two nations over the past three years and wished him well in his future career endeavors. Recognizing the strong and friendly ties between the two countries, both parties reaffirmed their dedication to further enhancing political interactions, including the framework for bilateral consultations. They also explored additional measures to deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the sectors of economy, tourism, culture, agriculture, and energy.
In the meeting with Ambassador Ramčilović, it was acknowledged that Montenegro and North Macedonia foster amicable relations characterized by frequent high-level contacts, to which the Minister noted the Ambassador’s notable contribution during his tenure. Both sides highlighted the significance of NATO alliances and shared European and Euro-Atlantic values for bolstering the stability and prosperity of the entire region, expressing their commitment to ongoing dynamic cooperation across various areas of mutual interest.
