Upcoming elections in Nikšić carry a significance that extends beyond local concerns, as affirmed today by Borislav Boro Pravilović, a councilor in the Assembly of the Royal Capital and a member of the Executive Board (EB) of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) of the Royal Capital Cetinje.

“The past four years, during which a nationalist agenda dictated by external influences took precedence, are behind us,” Pravilović stated.

He also highlighted that Nikšić remains resilient.

“The protector of the northern region has stood firm and will always oppose any threats to the idea of a civic, multiethnic, multireligious, and European Montenegro. This is why the anti-fascist city of Nikšić, renowned for its artists, culture, and creative spirit, will decisively triumph over regressive politicians who have dared to tarnish the memory of Ljubo Čupić or attempted to undermine the anthem of Montenegro in the forthcoming elections. From the hero city of Prijestoni Cetinje, we extend our unwavering support to the brotherly, freedom-loving city of Nikšić in its battle to uphold the gains of anti-fascism and protect Montenegro’s national interests. We stand for Nikšić and for Montenegro,” Pravilović declared.

Local elections in Nikšić are slated for April 13th.
