The water polo players from Montenegro, under 16 years of age, triumphed over Italy today, winning in a thrilling five-pointer shootout, 17:16, which secured them third place in the Easter tournament held in Budva. The match concluded with a regular-time tie of 13:13.

Montenegro’s standout performer was Andrej Durutović, who scored three goals. Teammates Stefan Roganović, Stefan Vraneš, and Pavle Dabić each added two goals, while Luka Todorović, Stefan Kruta, Marko Milinić, and Danilo Savović contributed one goal each.

Finishing the tournament with three wins and two losses, Montenegro experienced defeats against Spain and Serbia on the first day. However, they bounced back on the second day, securing victories against Croatia and the Netherlands.

Spain claimed the tournament trophy, finishing with four wins and one loss.
