On Wednesday, the Final Rematch Between Primorje and Jadran
Water polo teams Primorje and Jadran will face off in the second match of the Montenegrin championship finals tomorrow in Kotor.
Primorac triumphed in the first match held in Herceg Novi, winning 9:6.
The finals are contested in a best-of-three format.
The match in Kotor is set to commence at 18:00.
Jadran is aiming for their tenth consecutive and overall thirteenth championship title in Montenegro.
The team has secured the trophy for the last nine years (2014 through 2023), along with additional wins in 2009, 2010, and 2012.
They were also champions in the former FNRJ in 1958 and 1959, as well as during the Serbia and Montenegro era in 2003, 2004, and 2006.
Primorac has not claimed the title since 2008.
Prior to that, they were crowned champions in the season before.
In 1985/86, they held the title of champion of the former Yugoslavia, and in 2009, they achieved the title of European champions.
