“Remembering Lost Lives and War’s Destruction: The Imperative of Pursuing Peace Politics”
The tragic loss of lives and the destruction brought about by war serve as a stark reminder that a policy grounded in peace, mutual respect, and cooperation is indispensable. Such a policy stands as the sole assurance of stability and prosperity for both our nation and the region.
On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the NATO bombing of the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which included Montenegro, President Jakov Milatović expressed these sentiments.
“We have a duty to remember all innocent victims of the bombing, including those in Murina. Furthermore, we must work together to create a safer future for our citizens, ensuring that the tragic events of the past are never repeated,” Milatović shared on Iks.
