Authorities Confiscate 92 Bullets and 119 Detonator Caps

Authorities conducted a search at a residence in Komani associated with JR (45), resulting in the discovery and confiscation of 92 pieces of ammunition of unspecified caliber and 119 detonator caps, as reported by the Police Directorate (UP) today.
The statement indicates that the confiscated ammunition and explosives are to be forwarded for forensic analysis, after which the prosecutor will determine the legal classification of the offense.
The Police Department noted that members of the Cetinje police are actively engaged in measures aimed at preventing criminal activities as well as recovering firearms, ammunition, and explosives illegally held by citizens. They have conducted searches at four locations in both Cetinje and Podgorica linked to JR.
“Following a court order, an inspection was conducted of the apartment and other facilities used by JR (45) across three locations in Cetinje, where no illegal items were found. In collaboration with the officials from the Podgorica Security Department, a further search was carried out at the residence used by JR in Komani, leading to the seizure of 92 pieces of ammunition of unknown caliber and 119 detonator caps. By directive of the acting prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Cetinje, the confiscated materials will be sent for forensic examination, following which the prosecutor will define the legal nature of the action,” the statement elaborates.
