Dečić Takes Over from Mulalić, Brnović Positioned Nearest to the Champion’s Bench
Edis Mulalić is no longer serving as the coach of AdmiralBet’s Dečić team, according to reports from “Vijesti”.
The Bosnian expert returned to Tuzi in October of last year following the departure of Milorad Peković. However, he was dismissed after today’s match that ended in a 1:1 draw against Jedinstvo France.
Nenad Brnović, a former coach of Sutjeska and Petrovac, is currently the leading candidate to take over Mulalić’s position at Dečić.
Thus, Mulalić’s third stint at Dečić concluded without notable success. In Montenegrin football, he has previously managed Rudar on two occasions and also OFK Titograd.
At present, Dečić sits in sixth place in the Montenegrin championship but still holds hope of capturing a trophy in the Cup, where they have advanced to the semifinals.
