Initial Meeting of the Inquiry Committee Scheduled for Tuesday
The inaugural session of the parliamentary Inquiry Committee focusing on the “black threes” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25th.
“I would like to announce that the First Session of the Inquiry Committee, aimed at gathering information and facts about the actions of state bodies and other entities concerning politically motivated murders that have taken place since the establishment of multi-party politics to the present time, as well as in relation to the physical assaults and beatings of journalists and other independent intellectuals by police officers known as the ‘Black Three’, will occur on March 25, 2025 (Tuesday) at 12 noon in the Blue Hall of the Parliament of Montenegro,” stated Andrija Nikolić, the committee chair and leader of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Socialists, in a message regarding the session.
He proposed three items for the agenda: reviewing the methodology of the committee’s work and proposing rules of procedure; discussing initiatives on specific topics for hearings; and addressing miscellaneous matters.
