The University of Montenegro (UCG) has released a tender for official overseas travel, amounting to 140,743 euros, excluding VAT.
As per the documentation found on the Montenegrin Electronic Public Procurement (CeJN) site, the University is looking for economy class flight tickets for travel throughout the region, Europe, and other international destinations.
Additionally, it is noted on the website that the University – including the Rectorate, faculties, and Student Parliament – is in need of reservations for hotels rated three stars or higher, as well as arrangements for transportation abroad.
Bids will be assessed based on the bidder’s previous experience as part of the criteria for selecting the best proposal.
The University expects that the bidder’s experience certification includes, among other details, the name and address of the service user, a description of the procurement subject, and the date and number of the signed contract…
According to the tender requirements, the bidder must provide a signed and certified statement assuring that they will handle reservations for flight tickets and hotel bookings…
“If needed, provide reservation services outside of normal working hours in case of emergencies. If chosen as the most advantageous bidder, it will provide the client with the best possible conditions during the contract period regarding pricing. This includes the cost of the ticket, airport taxes, and one bag’s luggage fees… If, during price checks, discrepancies are found between the bidder’s proposed airfare and accommodation costs compared to other agencies, the client may ask the bidder to present a more favorable offer that they have located themselves,” the documentation specifies.
