Upon the defense’s request, the examination of the indictment from the Special State Prosecutor’s Office against Vas and Nikola Ulić, Vukan (Vinetu) Čoković Matić, Viktor Drešaj, Radomir Dobriša, Petar Miranović, Marinko Prelević, Veselin Para Pavličić, Radoje Zvicer, Dragan Pavličević, Vuk Vulević, Radul Božović, Ivan Delić, Leon Drešaj, Milo Božović, Damir Mandić, Vjekoslav Lambulić, and Radovan Pantović for the offense of establishing a criminal organization has been adjourned to March 28th at the Higher Court in Podgorica.

There is an indictment against Vaso Ulić, Veselin Pavličić, Ivan Delić, Damir Mandić, Vuk Vulević, and Dragan Pavličević for two criminal offenses: the unlawful production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs. Leon and Viktor Drešaj, Milo Božović, Radul Božović, Vjekoslav Lambulić, Petar Miranović, Vukan Čoković Matić, Radoje Zvicer, Slobodan Kašćelan, and Radovan Pantović are also indicted for the offense of unlawful production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs.

The SDT accuses Vaso Ulic, Radoje Zvicer, and Slobodan Kašćelan of orchestrating the smuggling of 2,020 kilograms of cocaine from South America to Europe and Australia via vessel in early 2020, which was intercepted by Colombian authorities.

They are also suspected of managing the smuggling of 903 kilograms of cocaine in June 2021, thwarted by Australian authorities.

“Some evidence gathered during the investigation, combined with other collected data, formed the basis for the indictment and was acquired through international legal cooperation in criminal matters between the Special State Prosecutor’s Office and the relevant judicial authorities of the United States, Australia, and France. The indictment suggests an extension of the detention for defendants VU, VMČ, MB, NU, VD, DR, PM, MP, and VP after the indictment is filed, and that the trial for RZ, DP, VV, RB, ID, and LD, who are fugitives or untraceable, be conducted in absentia, while the remaining defendants are either serving sentences in the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions or are in custody for other legal proceedings,” states the indictment.
