Sharks in Los Angeles Seek to Find Their Rhythm for Paris

Traveling from Tivat through Istanbul to Los Angeles, the Montenegrin water polo team is set to fly to California tonight to continue their preparations for the Olympic Games.
According to the announcement from the Water Polo and Swimming Association, the “Sharks” will participate in two test matches against the United States in the “City of Angels”.
The first match against the host team is scheduled for either June 12 or 13 at 4 PM local time, while the second will take place between June 14 and 15 at 3 PM.
Coach Vladimir Gojković has selected 18 players for this preparation phase: Dejan Lazović, Kanstantin Averka, Aljoša Mačić, Vlad Popadić, Stefan Vidović, Đur Radović, Vladan Spaić, Dušan Matković, Vasilij Radović, Petr Tešanović, Marko Mršić, Jovan Vujović, Darko Đurović, Bogdan Đurđić, Martin Gardašević, Danil Radović, Andrija Korać, and Dimitrija Obradović.
The VPSCG noted that Miroslav Perković and Dušan Banićević have yet to commence their preparations due to club commitments, while Luka Murišić, Uroš Vučurović, Đorđije Stanojević, Ilija Radović, and Lazar Andrić are on the extended list of candidates for the Olympic Games.
The water polo tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris begins on June 28, where Montenegro is placed in a group with Croatia, Italy, Greece, Romania, and the USA.
