The Chicago Bulls triumphed over the Los Angeles Lakers 119-117 on Thursday night, propelled by Josh Giddy’s half-court three-pointer in the game’s closing seconds, within the American Professional Basketball League (NBA).

Trailing by five points at 100-105 with just 12.6 seconds left, the Bulls made a comeback as Patrick Williams and Kobe White both sank three-pointers, bringing the score to 106-105. Austin Reeves quickly countered for the Lakers with a bucket just three seconds remaining. In a thrilling finish, Giddy nailed a three-pointer from half court, securing the Bulls’ fourth consecutive victory.

Giddy concluded the game with an impressive triple-double, tallying 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. Kobe White contributed 26 points and nine assists, while Kevin Herter added 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

On the Lakers’ side, Austin Reeves shone the brightest, scoring 30 points. Luka Dončić made an impact as well, netting 25 points, securing 10 rebounds, and dishing out eight assists, while LeBron James chipped in with 17 points and 12 assists.

The Oklahoma City Thunder secured their eighth consecutive victory with a 125-104 win over Memphis. Shay Gilges-Alexander led his team with 37 points, alongside six assists, three rebounds, and three steals. Jaylen Williams also made a notable return, adding 20 points in his first game back after a seven-game absence due to a hip injury.

Isaiah Hartenstein contributed 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Oklahoma, which boasts the league’s best record at 61 wins and 12 losses, currently ahead of Cleveland with 59 wins and 14 losses.

For Memphis, Jaren Jackson performed well with 27 points, Scottie Pippen Jr. registered 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and five steals, while Jaylen Wells scored 13 points. Their teammate Ja Morant was absent for the sixth consecutive game due to a hamstring injury.

Cleveland earned a 124-116 victory against San Antonio, marking their third straight win. The Cavaliers were led by Jarrett Allen with 29 points and 15 rebounds, while Donovan Mitchell contributed 25 points, 14 assists, and eight rebounds. Max Struss and Deandre Hunter supported the team with 18 and 14 points, respectively.

San Antonio’s efforts included 22 points from Stephon Castle, complemented by 11 rebounds and eight assists, while Devin Wesel and Keldon Johnson contributed 22 and 17 points, respectively.

Indiana achieved a franchise record by defeating Washington 162-109, with nine players scoring in double figures. Tyrese Halliburton was the standout with 29 points, followed by Myles Turner with 17 and Jeres Walker with 16 points.

Despite the commanding win, the Pacers missed opportunities to score more in the final minute. Their previous franchise record stood at 157 points.

Washington, on the other hand, surrendered the most points in franchise history. Alex Sarr led the team with 22 points and seven rebounds, while Jordan Poole added 18 points, and former Partizan player Tristan Vukcevic contributed four points.

In other matchups, Houston outperformed Utah with a score of 121-110, highlighted by Alperen Shengun’s impressive 33 points and 10 rebounds. Sacramento broke their four-game losing streak with a 128-107 win over Portland.

Dallas edged past Orlando 101-92, while Miami continued their winning streak with a 36-point performance from Tyler Herro in their victory over Atlanta.
