Professor Dražen Drašković, representing the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (ETF) in Belgrade, declared today that during the “15 for 15” protest in Belgrade, precisely at 19:12, a coordinated attack on students took place. One assault originated from individuals in Pionirski Park, while another utilized an as-yet-unknown sound weapon on a central street in Belgrade.

“It’s a tragedy for Serbian society that such events transpired at that moment. At 19:12, there was a coordinated action where hooligans in Pionirski Park threw stones at our student security personnel. Concurrently, the Gendarmerie responded with tear gas from across the street. Additionally, an unidentified group executed an action using weapons that will be scrutinized by both local and international experts,” he stated in an interview on TV.

Drašković expressed that significant events occurred during the moment of silence at the protest, suggesting it was an assault on young people who were peacefully assembling. “This was an assault on our own citizens, and it’s disheartening that it happened in a European nation,” he remarked.

Regarding the interruption that occurred during the fifteen minutes of silence, he asserted that some form of weapon was likely employed, based on the video evidence collected.

“Our faculty has experts specializing in sound, and we are in collaboration with specialists from other faculties. Our objective is to gather and thoroughly analyze all materials to ascertain precisely what transpired. There are various types of weapons, including sonic cannons, microwaves, and air cannons. It is evident something occurred. We can infer this from the sound and the wave pattern observed. The wave pattern ceased at a specific moment, indicating it wasn’t a typical stampede; had it been, it would have spread toward Slavija,” elaborated Professor Drašković.

Simultaneously, he highlighted that certain media figures in Serbia were seemingly “celebrating the coup”.

“All of these factors point to the conclusion that this was not a random occurrence but rather a planned operation executed right during the fifteen-minute silence,” Drašković added, noting that numerous students sustained injuries—some with fractures and sprains, many experiencing hearing issues, others suffering shock, and there were even reports of individuals with pacemaker complications.
