Promoting Political and Economic Collaboration
On the second day of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović held a meeting with President Vahagn Khachaturyan.
President Khachaturyan expressed his appreciation to Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović for his trip to Armenia, underscoring the significance of enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations. During their talks, both parties reaffirmed the existing strong ties and identified opportunities for further progress, particularly in the areas of economy and tourism. President Khachaturyan noted that political dialogue and reciprocal visits play a crucial role in strengthening the connections between the nations and their peoples.
There was a strong focus on fostering business relations and enhancing tourism connectivity. In this regard, alongside the extended visa-free travel for Armenian citizens and the increased frequency of flights between the capitals this year, discussions took place regarding the potential for establishing direct year-round air routes.
