Trial of Mališić Delayed
The trial of Nikola Mališić (33) regarding the criminal charge of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs at the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje has been rescheduled today.
The hearing was postponed due to the defendant’s health condition, as informed by his defense in a court motion.
As per the indictment, on December 7, 2023, at approximately 21:30 in Berane, Mališić sold an unspecified quantity of cocaine, which was divided into four handmade packages, to local resident Ilija Pantović for 120 euros.
Some of the narcotics were consumed by Pantović, Nikolja Kljajić, and Aleksandar Martić, while the remaining amount, totaling 0 grams and contained in two handmade packages, was seized by police officers from Martić during a personal inspection at the “Marija Magdalena” restaurant located in the Donja Ržanica area of Berane.
The next hearing is set for April 15th.
