Mbappé Returns to the National Team
France’s manager Didier Deschamps has honored the commitment he made around three weeks ago.
Kylian Mbappe has received a call-up to the national team once again, indicating that any issues between the coach and the player may have been resolved, although neither has publicly acknowledged any existed.
“I’m not sure why I wasn’t selected. If I had been called up, I would have shown up,” Mbappe stated recently, displaying his willingness to engage in controversy.
The Real Madrid star was last seen representing the “tricolor” during the Nations League in September of last year, in matches against Italy and Belgium, and he missed out on the action in October and November.
Deschamps previously mentioned that it was unnecessary for Mbappe to risk injury, despite the fact that one of the world’s top strikers competed for the “royal club” both before and after the national team sessions.
Now, he is included in the roster for the Nations League quarterfinals and upcoming matches against Croatia (on March 20 in Split and three days later in Paris), which are crucial not just for France but also for the Montenegrin national team, as the losing side will face the “brave falcons” in World Cup qualifying.
Kylian is in exceptional form and certainly represents a significant advantage for the French side, having netted 2025 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid over 15 matches.
Deschamps has also included debutant Desiree Due from Paris Saint-Germain for the encounters against the “fiery”…
