“Agency for Land Administration and Cartography of the Netherlands Visits”
On March 31, 2025, the Director of the Real Estate Administration, Marko Bulatović MSc, held a meeting with Mr. Haico van der Vegt, the representative of the Agency for Land Administration and Cartography of the Netherlands. This meeting was part of ongoing efforts to provide professional support to the Western Balkans.
“I want to express my gratitude to Director Marko Bulatović and his team for taking the time to meet with us. Our support for the Real Estate Administration can be realized through the implementation of modern information technologies within cadastral and land registration systems, encompassing the digitization of cadastral data, the rollout of advanced GIS tools, and the enhancement of e-services related to the cadastre,” stated Haico van der Vegt.
“The Netherlands is renowned in the realm of safeguarding and enhancing legal security associated with land rights, which involves the registration of property and other real rights in the cadastre. This also includes legislative and administrative reforms aimed at bolstering the security of land rights. Our support can extend to modernizing the cadastral system, optimizing the collection and exchange of spatial data, ensuring system interoperability, and devising a comprehensive data-sharing strategy,” remarked Marko Bulatović MSc, Director of the Real Estate Administration.
Haico van der Vegt noted that the cooperation could encompass assistance in implementing unique, developed methods of land and real estate valuation, which would be instrumental in enhancing the valuation system. This would enable Montenegro to engage in real estate and land market valuation in a more modern and precise manner.
