Junior Girls Secure Convincing Victory Over Uzbekistan

Montenegro’s women’s handball team secured a straightforward win in the opening match of the World Championship for players under 20 years old, held in North Macedonia.
Coached by Igor Marković, the Montenegrin team triumphed over Uzbekistan with a score of 48:32 in Skopje.
Midway through the first half, Montenegro established a solid lead, effectively determining the outcome by halftime (23:11).
A total of 13 players contributed to the scoring, with Anđela Milošević standing out as the top scorer with nine goals, while both Jelena Vukčević and Nikolina Marković added seven goals each.
Goalkeeper Marija Marsenić, who recorded 16 saves, was named the player of the match.
Montenegro’s next match is scheduled for Friday at 11:15 AM against Guinea, followed by a crucial group stage match against Portugal the following day.
