Milan made an attempt to sign Nikola Krstović in the January transfer window, aiming to secure his services for the upcoming summer.
They proposed a sum of 30 million, but Lecce turned down the offer.
Milan doesn’t make offers without reason, and once again, the Montenegrin forward proved why he is on their radar.
In fact, he threatened the net not once but twice— the Rossoneri felt his shots ripple the net twice.
Ultimately, luck was not on his side in terms of a team victory, as Milan staged an impressive comeback, flipping the score from 0:2 to 3:2 in just 13 minutes.
Krstović opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a fantastic strike, launching a powerful shot from approximately 20 meters following a swift counterattack.

In the 21st minute, he nearly added a second goal, sidestepping the Sportijel goalkeeper but striking the post. However, he redeemed himself an hour later.
He assisted Žilber on a counterattack, timing his run perfectly to receive the return ball and placing it beautifully from roughly 15 meters.

Nikola Krstović has already surpassed his previous season’s tally with nine goals in Serie A this year.
Thanks to his contributions, Lecce took a 2:0 lead, but Milan staged a dramatic comeback in the closing minutes, netting three goals between the 68th and 81st minutes.
Aown goal by Đalo, a penalty converted by Christian Pulisic, followed by another from open play sealed the turnaround.
The match ended 2:3…
It was unfortunate for Nikola Krstović that his standout performance didn’t translate into a win for Lecce.
He became only the second player in the club’s history to score two goals against Milan, joining the legendary Cristiano Lucarelli, who achieved the feat 25 years ago.
