The Montenegro national water polo team is in the final stages of its preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games.
Following two matches against France—one victory and one defeat—Vladimir Gojković’s team is now gearing up for the tournament in Šabac.
Today, the “sharks” will face Germany at 17:15, with additional opponents including Romania (on Friday), Australia, Serbia (on Saturday), and France on Sunday.
“We played two official matches in France. The first match was at a fairly good level, but in the second, we experienced many fluctuations and weren’t at our desired performance level,” Gojković commented.
The competition in Šabac will be challenging.
“The tournament is quite strong; we have five games scheduled over four days. It’s a true test to assess how we handle numerous matches and to determine where we stand at this moment. Then, we will have 11 days left to prepare as best as possible for the Olympic Games,” Gojković added.
