The Playmaker Departed Sutjeska to Join Bosnia

American player Austin Luk is no longer part of the Sutjeska basketball team, as announced by the Nikšić club.

The 30-year-old playmaker had a clause in his contract that allowed him to leave the club if Sutjeska failed to secure a spot in the Top 8 of the NLB ABA2 league.

Following their home defeat to Bosnia (75:73) which resulted in their elimination from the regional competition, Luk exercised this option and joined the former European champion.

This season, Luk averaged nine points and 2 assists in the ABA9.3 league.

“The basketball club Sutjeska wishes Austin Luk all the best in his future career,” the Montenegrin representative stated.
