We Were Heartbroken by the Tragic Fire News from North Macedonia

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić, expressed his condolences to the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the Speaker of the Parliament, Afrim Gashi, Prime Minister Hristijan Micoski, and the people of North Macedonia following the tragic event in Kočani.

Reports indicate that dozens of individuals lost their lives in a catastrophic incident at a disco in Kočani, with local media estimating at least 50 fatalities.

“We are profoundly affected by the heartbreaking news of the fire in the Republic of North Macedonia that resulted in the loss of so many lives. Montenegro will always remember the solidarity and kindness shown by the Republic of North Macedonia during our times of hardship. Today, we stand firmly with the Republic of North Macedonia and its citizens,” stated Mandić on his X account.
