The Administration and Judiciary Union has decided to postpone the protest that was scheduled for Monday in light of the Day of Mourning declared by the Government following the tragic events in North Macedonia.
“In response to the day of mourning expressed by the Government for the tragic loss of young lives in our neighboring country, the Main Board of the Administration and Judiciary Union convened an emergency meeting and opted to postpone the protest that was set for tomorrow,” the Union stated.
They also mentioned that details regarding the rescheduled date and time of the protest will be communicated to the public and members at a later time.
“The protest, which was initially planned for tomorrow, March 17th at 15:30 in front of the Government building, is postponed. This decision aligns with the fundamental principles of solidarity, empathy, piety, and humanity that underpin our trade union movement. Our heartfelt sympathy for the citizens of North Macedonia and our sister unions in that nation compels us to stand in solidarity and adhere to this day of mourning in Montenegro,” the statement concluded.
