Monday is a day of mourning due to the tragedy in North Macedonia

Monday is a Day of Mourning Following the Tragedy in North Macedonia

In light of the tragedy in North Macedonia, Monday, March 17, will be observed as a Day of Mourning in Montenegro.

This announcement was made by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić via a post on the X network.

“We are profoundly saddened by the tragic news from Kočani, North Macedonia. The Government of Montenegro is prepared to support our friendly neighbors in any way needed during this challenging time, and we wish to inform the public that Monday, March 17, will be a Day of Mourning in Montenegro. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the victims’ families, and we hope for a swift recovery for those injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of North Macedonia,” Spajić stated on X.

A total of 51 individuals lost their lives in an unfortunate incident at a disco in the city of Kočani.
