Concerns About Potential Threats from a Montenegrin Criminal Clan
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed the public this evening, assuring that there is no cause for concern regarding his safety. He expressed worry instead over uninvestigated leads, which do not involve the opposition or the protesting students, but rather a criminal organization from Montenegro that is allegedly planning something malicious for Saturday.
During a press conference following a discussion with student protesters, Vučić mentioned that while they have received some information, a complete understanding of the situation remains elusive.
“We are worried about certain leads connected to these criminals, which do not involve our opposition parties. Although I have heard about potential events, they do not pertain to the students, the unfortunate rector Đokić, or others. This issue is linked to a Montenegrin criminal group attempting to execute plans via the Kraljevo organization. We are particularly concerned that there may be vacant apartments concealing something that we have yet to uncover,” Vučić elaborated.
He further indicated that there are indications of some troubling plans being formulated for Saturday.
