Stijepović Arrested for Assaulting 77-Year-Old Man

Aleksandar Stijepović, a 20-year-old resident of Podgorica, has been remanded in custody for up to 72 hours following his questioning at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office.

He is suspected of stalking and then assaulting 77-year-old NK while wearing a mask, striking him in the head and body with his fists as well as a metal bar.

According to the Podgorica State Prosecutor’s Office, the incident occurred on February 21, 2025, when the suspect attacked NK, whom he had been following, with a metal bar, delivering multiple blows.

The prosecutor’s office stated that Stijepović is being investigated for violent behavior in conjunction with the serious crime of grievous bodily harm.
