Juniors Suffer Defeat Against Switzerland

The Montenegro men’s junior handball team faced a significant defeat in their fifth match at the European Championship for players under 20 years old, hosted in Slovenia.
The squad, under the guidance of coach Draško Mrvaljević, lost to Switzerland yesterday with a score of 39:13 during their second playoff game aimed at determining placements from 17th to 24th place.
This marks the fifth consecutive loss for our national team, as they have lost all five matches played in Celje against teams from North Macedonia, Austria, Croatia, and Italy prior to this game.
Milorad Bakić emerged as the most effective player for Montenegro, scoring five goals.
Montenegro is set to face Greece on Thursday at 19:00.
